Center has so far made 16.54 cr doses of the vaccine free of cost to the states

New Delhi: The Government of India together with the states and union territories is firmly leading the fight against the Kovid-19 epidemic. Vaccination is the most important part of the Indian government’s 5-point strategy against Kovid. The other four points include test, track, treat and covid appropriate behavior.

The third phase of the Kovid-19 vaccination process was started across the country on May 1, 2021, giving a more effective and lenient form. The registration process for the new age group eligible for vaccination under this phase has started from April 28, 2021. Beneficiaries can self-register for vaccination on the Kovin portal (cowin.gov.in) or the Arogya Setu App.

The Government of India has so far provided about 16.54 crore (16,54,93,410) doses of anti-Kovid vaccine free of cost to the States / UTs. According to the data available till 8 am today, 15,76,32,631 dosages including wastage have been used out of the total dosages.

States / UTs currently have 78,60,779 doses of anti-Kovid vaccines to be used.

Provided more than 56 lakh (56,20,670) additional doses in the next 3 days to the States and Union Territories.
