Corona Update: 42,298 people recovered in last 1 day, recovery rate 93.71%

New Delhi: Out of 496 deaths in the last 24 hours, 70.97 percent of the cases have been reported from eight states / union territories i.e. Delhi, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Haryana, Punjab, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.

Delhi has the highest number of new deaths with 89 deaths. 88 people have died in Maharashtra while West Bengal has 52.

The following figure shows the rising average of daily deaths in the month of November.

In 22 states / union territories the mortality rate is lower than the national average.

The active cases in India today are 4,53,956. At present, 4.83 percent of India’s total positive cases are active cases.

The change in active cases for the States / UTs in the last 24 hours is in the figure given below.

Maharashtra recorded the maximum positive change by adding 1,940 cases, while Delhi recorded the maximum negative change with a decrease of 1,603 active cases.

In the last 24 hours, 41,810 new cases of Kovid have been reported in the country.

The contribution of 70.43 percent in the daily new cases is from eight states / union territories i.e. Kerala, Maharashtra, Delhi, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Chhattisgarh.

Kerala has the highest number of 6,250 new cases of Kovid. Maharashtra has recorded 5,965 cases while 4,998 new cases have been reported in Delhi.

The total number of cases in India has crossed 88 lakh (8,802,267). The national recovery rate today is 93.71 percent.

42,298 recoveries have been recorded in the last 24 hours in the country.

68.73 per cent of the new recovery cases are concentrated in 8 states / union territories.

Delhi has the highest recovery in a single day with 6,512 new cases of discharge while 5,275 people have recovered in Kerala followed by 3,937 in Maharashtra.
