Corona Update: 99.5 lakh patients recovered in India so far, 1 crore people examined in last 11 days

New Delhi: Due to continuous, active and accurate approach, daily new cases of Covid-19 in the country are continuously declining. In the last 24 hours, 16,504 new cases have been registered across the country. A steady decline in the number of active cases has been ensured due to the decline in daily affairs. Today the number of active cases in the country has come down to 2,43,953. The share of active cases in total positive cases is only 2.36 percent of the cumulative cases. A total of 3,267 declines in total active cases have been reported during the last 24 hours.

The total number of tests in the country has so far exceeded 17 crore 50 lakhs (17,56,35,761). 7,35,978 samples were examined in the last 24 hours.

India’s test infrastructure has seen a huge growth. Today 2,299 laboratories are functioning in the country.

1 crore tests have been conducted in the last 11 days. The positivity rate has come down to 5.89 percent due to more tests.

Due to the large number of patients being cured and the number of new daily cases decreasing, the total number of covid cured patients in India has increased to about 10 million. Till date, the total number of cured patients has been about 99.5 lakhs (99,46,867). Due to this, the rate of recovery of patients has been 96.19 percent.

In the last 24 hours, 19,557 patients have recovered.

76.76 percent of the new patients are from 10 states / union territories.

Kerala has the highest number of 4,668 patients cured in a single day. In Maharashtra and West Bengal, 2,065 and 1,432 patients have been healthy in one day respectively.

83.90 percent of the new cases are from 10 states and union territories.

Kerala has reported the highest number of new cases during the last 24 hours. 4,600 new Covid-19 patients have been reported in the state. 3,282 and 8,96 new cases have been detected in Maharashtra and West Bengal respectively.

During the last 24 hours, 214 cases of daily deaths have been detected. 77.57 percent cases of daily deaths are related to 10 states / union territories.

Maharashtra accounts for 16.35 percent of daily deaths, with 35 deaths in the state. New cases of 26 and 25 deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours in West Bengal and Kerala respectively.
