New Delhi: The number of cured patients in India has increased from active cases to more than one crore, which is a significant achievement. The total number of cured patients has increased to 1,02,11,342, while the number of active cases in the country today is 2,08,012. The difference between these two has steadily increased to 1,00,03,330.
The total number of cured patients in the country has gone up by almost 50 times as compared to active cases. The recovery rate in India has reached a level of 96.59 percent. During the last 24 hours, 14,457 patients have been cured in the country, while 13,788 new cases have been confirmed during this period.
The trend of continuous decline in daily infected cases in the country continues. The number of daily deaths due to Covid-19 is also decreasing significantly. Less than 150 (145) patients have died in the country during the last 24 hours after about 8 months (7 months 23 days).
The graph below shows the daily deaths in various states in the last 24 hours. There have been no deaths due to Corona in 15 states, while 1 to 5 daily deaths have been reported in 13 states and 5 to 10 daily deaths have been reported in 4 states. 10 deaths have been confirmed in one state and two deaths in more than 20 states.
71.70 percent cured new patients belong to 7 states / UTs. Kerala has the highest number of new patients (4408) in a single day. In the last 24 hours, 2,342 and 855 new patients have been cured in Maharashtra and Karnataka respectively.
76.17 per cent of new cases are from 6 States / UTs. The highest number of new cases (5005) has been reported in Kerala yesterday. 3,081 and 745 new cases have been registered in Maharashtra and Karnataka respectively yesterday.
A total of 83.45 per cent of the deaths in the last 24 hours have been reported from 7 states / UTs. In Maharashtra, 50 people have died, while 21 and 12 new cases of deaths have been detected in Kerala and West Bengal respectively.
