New Delhi: Rapid increase in recovery with low daily new cases has resulted in a continuous decrease in active cases and low mortality. Today, the number of patients recovering from Kovid-19 has reached close to 97.5 lakhs (97,40,108). India’s total recovery is the highest in the world. Today’s recovery rate also improved to 95.78 percent due to increasing recovery. The presently active cases in India are 2,81,667 which is 2.77 percent of the total positive cases in India.
According to the national data, the recovery rate of all states/union territories is more than 90 percent.
Daily new cases have been less than 30,000 for the last 13 days. In the last 24 hours, 22,273 new cases were registered in the country.
For the last 29 days, the number of patients getting healthy daily in the country has been more than the number of new cases daily. During the last 24 hours, 22,274 cases were recovered and discharged.
73.56 percent of the new cases recovered are in 10 states/union territories.
Kerala has recorded the highest recovery in a day with 4,506 new cases recovered. 1,954 persons recovered in West Bengal, while 1,427 persons recovered in Maharashtra.
79.16 percent of the new cases are in 10 states and union territories.
Kerala registered the highest daily new cases with 5,397 cases. Maharashtra came second with 3,431 new cases, while West Bengal registered 1,541 new cases.
During the last 24 hours, 251 deaths have been recorded.
10 states/union territories accounted for 85.26 percent of the recent deaths from Kovid. Maharashtra recorded the highest number of deaths (71). West Bengal and Delhi were followed by 31 and 30 recent deaths respectively.
