Corona Update: More than 1 crore people vaccinated in the ongoing fight against Covid-19

New Delhi: A total of 6,58,674 vaccination doses were given in 10,812 sessions on the 34th day of the vaccination campaign (February 18, 2021). Of these, 4,16,942 beneficiaries received the first dose and 2,41,732 received the second dose. The country is witnessing an increase in day-to-day immunization campaigns. 8 states account for 57.47% of the total vaccination campaign. Uttar Pradesh alone accounts for 10.5% (10,70,895) of this. Of the beneficiaries receiving the second dose, 60.85 percent were from seven states. In Telangana, the highest 12 percent (73,281) received the second dose.

There have been no deaths due to Covid 19 in the last 24 hours from sixteen states / union territories. These are Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Goa, Jharkhand, Meghalaya, Puducherry, Chandigarh, Manipur, Mizoram, Lakshadweep, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Ladakh (Union Territory), Tripura, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Daman and Diu and Dadar and Nagar Haveli.
