Corona Vaccination: A nationwide campaign ‘Jaan Hai To Jahan Hai’ launched to create awareness

New Delhi: Minority Affairs Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi today called for creating awareness about Corona vaccination in rural and remote areas of the country and “crushing and apprehension” being spread by some vested interests regarding the current vaccination campaign. Started a nationwide awareness campaign “Jaan hai to jahan hai” to prevent. .

Naqvi, while starting the campaign from Chamraua, the primary health center in Rampur, Uttar Pradesh, said that hesitation in vaccination is to invite Corona.

Naqvi said that some people for vested interests are trying to spread rumors and apprehensions about the corona vaccine in some areas of the country. Such elements are enemies of the health and well being of the people.

The Minority Affairs Minister said that the Ministry of Minority Affairs along with various socio-educational organizations, NGOs and Women Self Help Groups has launched an awareness campaign, which will be organized across the country in the coming days. Under the campaign various religious leaders, prominent people from social, educational, cultural, medical, science and other fields are giving effective messages to the people for vaccination. He said that street plays would also be organized under this campaign across the country.

He said, the two “Made in India” corona vaccines are the result of the hard work of our scientists and it has been scientifically proven that these vaccines are completely safe and effective weapons in the fight against corona. He said that every eligible person should get vaccinated to make India free from corona epidemic.

Naqvi said that the State Haj Committees, Waqf Boards, their affiliated organizations, Central Waqf Council, Maulana Azad Education Foundation, various social and educational institutions, NGOs, Women Self Help Groups working under the ‘Nai Roshni’ scheme of the Ministry of Minority Affairs has been included in the awareness campaign. These organizations will encourage and motivate people to get vaccinated to deal with the corona epidemic.

Video messages of these prominent people will be disseminated through social media platforms and other means to create awareness about the corona vaccine among the people. In the coming days many other prominent people of the country will also join this campaign.

Naqvi said that the government led by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is running the world’s largest corona vaccination campaign in India. Till now crores of people have been vaccinated in the country. India is far ahead in Corona vaccination compared to countries which already had better resources and facilities.

Naqvi said that the government and the society have unitedly worked to defeat Corona with commitment, determination and self-restraint and the country is coming out of the crisis.
