Delhi minister Satyendar Jain withdraws plea seeking restrain on media from airing jail videos

Delhi minister Satyendar Jain, who is embroiled in a controversy over leaked CCTV footage of a massage and eating out, has withdrawn a petition seeking a restrain of the media from airing the leaked footage.

Jain’s lawyer said that he would move the High Court regarding this demand.

AAP leader Satyendar Jain, lodged in Tihar Jail in a money laundering case, on Wednesday urged a court to restrain the media from playing any video footage from inside his jail cell. Special Judge Vikas Dhull issued notice to Tihar Jail authorities on Jain’s plea and directed the prison authorities to file their reply by Thursday when the court will hear the matter.

Jain told the court that despite Tuesday’s hearing on his video being leaked from jail, another clipping was leaked on Wednesday morning.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday confirmed before the court that it had no role in leaking the video of Jain, in which he was seen getting massaged by a fellow inmate, which appeared to be a rape case inside his jail. The accused is in the case. room.

Days after CCTV footage of his massage surfaced, fresh videos of the jailed minister resurfaced on Wednesday, where he was seen eating raw vegetables and fruits in his Tihar Jail cell.

The video came to light after she moved a city court alleging that she was not being given raw food as per her religious beliefs.

Jain is accused of money laundering through four companies allegedly linked to him.
