ED Officials reached at the residence of Arvind Kejriwal for further searching on Thursday Hours after when High Court refuses to provide any kind of protection and declined to grant him any relief from arrest to Delhi CM In Liquor Policy Case. As CM Arvind Kejriwal has so far dodging all 9 summons issued to him by ED for his presence in further questioning. HC also said that “We are not inclined to grant an interim relief”.
The bench asked the chief minister, “why he had not filed plea for seeking anticipatory bail in the lower court if he was apprehending arrest. The summons started from October, What prevented you to go to the court below from filing an anticipatory bail?” They also added, “Until and unless you attend any of the call, how would you acknowledge them with the information they want?”
After the HC’s decision, AAP leader, Atishi Marlena slams ED after searches at the residence. She also claimed that the ruling party of BJP is trying to get Delhi’s CM arrested.
