The FBI on Sunday identified Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, as the man involved in an attempted assassination of Donald Trump.
Crooks was registered as a Republican, according to state voter records, 40 miles south of the Butler Farm Showground, where Trump was addressing his supporters at an election rally.

Earlier the Secret Service said in a statement that the shooter was dead, one person at the rally was killed and two other spectators were injured. Law enforcement officials told reporters they had not yet identified a motive for the attack.
