New Delhi: The Film Division is organizing Parakram Divas on 23 January 2021 with the screening of two films made on Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s 125th birth anniversary celebrations. In order to honor Netaji’s indomitable courage and selfless service to the nation, the Government of India has announced to celebrate his birthday on 23 January as a day of valor.
On this occasion, the films The Flame Burns Bright (43 minutes / English / 1973 / Ashish Mukherjee) and Netaji (21 minutes / Hindi / 1973 /) are made on the life of a great leader and his heroic and tireless struggle to free India from British rule, Arun Chaudhary). Both documentaries will be shown throughout the day on January 23, 2021, on the Film Division’s website and YouTube channel.
