Patna: The Jharkhand High Court on Friday rejected Lalu Prasad’s bail application in the Fodder Scam case, which threatened the RJD president’s immediate release from jail. Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh rejected the bail plea of Lalu Prasad involved in the multi-crore fodder scam in the Dumka Treasury Case case.
The court said that since the RJD leader would have to serve two more months in jail for serving half of his full sentence in the case, the bail plea was not granted and he filed fresh application after two months. said.
Prasad has already secured bail in three of the four cases of fodder scam in which he has been convicted and has come out of jail for accepting his request in a case related to the illegal withdrawal of Rs 3.13 crore from the Dumka treasury. Could help.
Lalu Prasad is currently admitted to AIIMS Delhi due to poor health.
