Lucknow: On the lines of the central government, now the Uttar Pradesh government has also issued the guidelines for Unlock-5. Yogi Sarkar gave some relief to the school and educational institution and said that after 15 October, schools and coaching centers will be opened in a phased manner. Uttar Pradesh Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Avnish Awasthi said that the guidelines of Unlock-5 have been issued on the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. As per Unlock-5 guidelines, all schools and coaching centers outside the maintenance zone will be opened after October 15.
However, this decision will be taken by the district administration after consulting the management committee of the school and institute and assessing the condition of the corona. Awasthi said that permission for online distance learning will continue and this will be encouraged on the lines of the center and this system will be given priority. On the other hand, where schools are running online classes and some students want to join online classes instead of attending classes, they may be allowed to.
Awasthi said that students can attend school only with the written consent of their parents. Also, the presence of students in schools and educational institutions cannot be made mandatory without the consent of the parents. This will depend on the consent of the parents. Schools cannot force students to attend class.
It is currently under consideration to open schools for children from 10th to 12th grade to prevent the corona epidemic. Classes will only be held in the morning shift. The class will run for only 3 hours and only 20 children are allowed to sit in a class. After Dussehra, there are plans to call the children of 9th and 11th in the second shift. According to CMS public relations officer Rishi Khanna, a meeting of all the principals has been called on Saturday. After this, a decision will be taken on opening the school.
According to Anil Agarwal, no more than 20 children will be accommodated in a class in view of security. Every seat will have a name written on it and only one child will sit. Each section has to be divided into two sections. It will not be mandatory for children to come to school. Along with offline, there will also be an option of online. Masks and sanitizers will be mandatory for school children. There will be a ban on giving lunch boxes, pens, books to each other.
Awasthi said that the swimming pool will be allowed to be opened from October 15 as per the set standards issued by the Ministry of Youth Welfare and Sports, Government of India for the training of sportspersons. Amusement parks and such places may be allowed to be opened from October 15 as per the prescribed standards issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
