The AAP party, on the other hand, alleged that the saffron party should be blamed for the demolition as it operates the North Delhi Municipal Corporation, the civic agency that carried out the demolition drive.

The locals also opposed the demolition and demanded that the temple be rebuilt. He said that the demolition of the temple was illegal.
