Veteran NCP leader Sharad Pawar warned cricket legend, Sachin Tendulkar, to be more careful while commenting on farmers’ issues, followed by Twitter on Saturday with caustic remarks against the former BCCI chief.
Tweeting on the agitation being made by farmers against three new agricultural laws like Tendulkar and Lata Mangeshkar, Pawar said, “I would suggest Sachin (Tendulkar) be careful while speaking on issues related to other areas.” On the borders of Delhi.

MNS chief Raj Thackeray also reiterated what Pawar had said. He said, “The government should not make this mistake again. Lata Mangeshkar, Sachin Tendulkar is a big but very simple person. He is facing the will of the people as the government asked him to tweet,” .

Pawar’s statement did not go down well with some people in the social media world who attacked him for openly “threatening” the cricketer.

One of the respondents mocked Pawar, reminding him of the incident when Australian cricketers knocked him out after the Champions Trophy was presented in 2006.
