India hands back Chinese soldier who had strayed across border

New Delhi: India and China continue to struggle in the border areas. This soldier is posted as a corporal in the People’s Liberation Army of China. After this, China requested India to release its soldier. India assured China that their troops would soon be released. India returned the Chinese soldier caught in the Ladakh region on Tuesday night to China. China was handed over at the Chushul Moldo meeting point late on Tuesday.

Explain that a Chinese soldier was arrested on 19 October from Demchok area of ​​eastern Ladakh. Wang wandered across the Line of Actual Control and entered the Indian border. During this time, the Indian Army had provided food and drink and warm clothes along with medical help to protect the Chinese soldier from the cold weather.

China requested Wang to return his missing soldier, after which Indian authorities handed over Wang to China after completing all the formalities under the protocol. In June, there was a violent clash between the two armies in the Galwan Valley in Ladakh, in which 20 Indian soldiers lost their lives.
