India’s active cases less than 5% of total cases, recovery rate over 93%

New Delhi: At present active cases (4,43,486) of total positive cases reported in India is 4.85 percent and it is less than five percent of total active cases.

The recovery rate remains above 93 percent as 93.68 percent of all cases have been cured so far. In the last 24 hours, a total of 41,024 new recoveries have been recorded in the country with the total recovery cases being 85,62,641.

The gap between the recovery cases and active cases is steadily increasing and currently stands at 81,19,155.

In the last 24 hours, 44,059 persons have been found infected with Kovid. Since November 8, less than 50,000 cases have been reported in India for the last 16 days. It is believed that many countries of the Western Hemisphere are witnessing a huge increase of new cases due to the onset of winter.

Out of the new recovery, 77.44 percent recovery has come from ten states / union territories.

In Kerala, 6,227 people have recovered from Kovid. While Delhi has reported recovery of 6,154 patients. Maharashtra has reported 4,060 new recoveries in the last 24 hours.

Out of the new cases, 78.74 per cent cases have come from ten states / union territories. In Delhi, 6,746 cases were reported in the last 24 hours. 5,753 new cases were registered in Maharashtra while 5,254 daily cases were registered in Kerala yesterday.

15 states and union territories report less than the national average per million population (6,623).

Out of 511 patients killed in the last 24 hours, 74.95 percent cases are from ten states / union territories.

There are 121 deaths in Delhi and this is 23.68 percent of new deaths. Maharashtra has killed 50 people, while West Bengal has recorded 49 new deaths.

21 states and union territories have fewer deaths than the national average per million (97) deaths.
