New Delhi: As the twelfth anniversary of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks is being observed on Thursday, the Mumbai Police organized an event to pay tribute to the martyred security personnel, which was attended by a limited number of people due to the Corona epidemic. The ceremony was held at the newly constructed memorial at the police headquarters in South Mumbai. Family members of the martyred police and security personnel attended the event on Wednesday.
India can never forget the night of 26 November 2008 when 10 terrorists of Pakistan drenched India’s financial capital Mumbai. In this terrorist incident 174 people were brutally murdered, while more than 300 people were injured in this incident. The terrorists targeted important places like Mumbai’s Shaan Taj Hotel, Hotel Trident, Nariman Point, Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Chabad House, Cama Hospital, Metro Cinema, Leopard Cafe in this attack.
From Pakistan, these terrorists entered India through the sea and got divided into different groups. All these terrorists left in a boat from Karachi city of Pakistan on the night of 23 November. All these terrorists had dangerous weapons. After entering the Indian maritime border, he grabbed a boat and killed all 4 people aboard it. These terrorists, divided into 6 different groups, first began firing at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus around 9.21 pm. The dreaded terrorist Ajmal Kasab was caught in the CCTV here. Photos taken of Kasab in the hands of Kasab were published in media all over the world. Kasab was the only one among such terrorists who was alive at the hands of the Mumbai Police. Security agencies got all the information from him. Kasab was hanged in Pune’s Yerwada Jail on November 21, 2012.
After this, Nariman House, an important part of Mumbai, was attacked by another group of terrorists. Here he killed many people. Along with this, the terrorists also lobbed bullets in Leopard Café. He then exploded in a taxi and killed 5 policemen. Kasab moved to Cama Hospital after playing a bloody game at Shivaji Terminus. Many police officers lost their lives here. They later captured a police van and opened indiscriminate firing on people on the roadside. However, the van was later stopped by policemen standing in front. The current among these policemen was ASI Tukaram Ombale. He caught Kasab so tightly unarmed that he could not get out of his grip. However, he had to pay the price for his life.
The terrorists then proceeded to the Taj and Oberoi Hotel. The terrorists had caused tremendous destruction here. He roasted them with bullets that came before him. Many foreign nationals including many innocent Indians were also killed in it.
The Mumbai Police raised their hands in the matter, till the Special Commandos took over. All terrorists were killed during a commando operation at the Taj Hotel. After this, people were safely evacuated from there. At the same time, the terrorists of Chabad House were also killed in commando action. These were the special commandos, due to which these dreaded terrorists of Pakistan could be controlled so quickly. Otherwise, I do not know how many havoc they have caused in Mumbai.
