Purnia Superintendent of Police (SP) Vishal Sharma said, “Based on the complaint of the deceased’s wife Khushbu Devi, an FIR was registered against the leader’s murder against 6 people including senior RJD leaders Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, Tej Pratap Yadav, Anil Kumar Sadhu. has gone. Investigations are on to ascertain the involvement of the leaders in the incident. “
Mallik, 35, was shot and killed by unidentified assailants on Sunday morning while he was at his house on Mugi Farm Road in Purnia district. The family of the deceased has alleged that they were killed at the behest of RJD leaders as they were preparing to contest from Raniganj (SC) assembly seat in Araria.
Mallik joined the RJD in 2019 and was later made the Secretary of State (SC / ST Cell, Bihar). However, recently he had made serious allegations against RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, demanding Rs 50 lakh to contest from Raniganj (SC) seat on a party ticket.
The deceased’s wife said, “At around 6 am on Sunday, three masked men entered our house and shot my husband very closely. We immediately rushed him to Sadar Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. He alleged that my husband was killed at the behest of Tejashwi Yadav. “
According to the police, three unidentified armed criminals entered his house and shot him dead. “He was shot three and died on the spot,” said a police officer.
The RJD called it a political conspiracy before the assembly elections. RJD state spokesperson Mrityunjay Tiwari said the allegations against Tejashwi and Tej Pratap were baseless and false. “The FIR is inspired by politics.”
In Purnia, senior RJD leader Kamal Kishore Yadav said, “The police will investigate the matter and the truth will be revealed.” RJD leaders never play such a dirty game in politics.”
