New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will declare the NEET-UG result 2020 today, October 16. Candidates who have given the Medical Entrance Test will be able to check their results online at ntaneet.nic.in. About 15.97 lakh candidates had registered for NEET 2020 this year. However, on September 13, only 85-90 percent of them appeared in the examination. The remaining students could not appear in the examination due to corona epidemic. Along with this, the examination was re-conducted on 14 October for the candidates who were denied examination due to Kovid-19 infected or contention zone. According to the news agency ANI, the Supreme Court has given relaxation to conduct the re-examination for the disadvantaged candidates of NEET 2020.
According to various media reports regarding the announcement of the NTA NEET 2020 result, the result can be announced later this afternoon. The NEET Result 2020 will be announced by the NTA on the examination portal, ntaneet.nic.in and the candidates who have appeared in the examination will be able to check their NEET 2020 score card as well as NEET 2020 rank after the result is released from the examination portal. Also, candidates should note that any update regarding NEET 2020 result can also be released on the official website of NTA, nta.nic.in. In addition, the agency will also issue college-wise cut-offs for MBBS and BDS courses in medical colleges across the country. In such a situation, the candidates waiting for NEET UG Result 2020 can visit the NEET exam portal as well as NTA website to see their NEET UG rank 2020 and NEET cut-off 2020. Experts preparing for NEET exam believe that the cut-off may be higher this year than in previous years as the candidates got more time to prepare this year.
