Prime Minister Narendra Modi visits Raj Ghat and Vijay Ghat, the memorials of Mahatma Gandhi and India’s second Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri, respectively, to pay floral tributes to him.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today paid tributes to Mahatma Gandhi on his 152nd birth anniversary, saying his life and thoughts will inspire every generation to follow the path of duty.

“I bow to respected Bapu on Gandhi Jayanti. His great principles are globally relevant and give strength to millions of people,” he said.

The Prime Minister visited Raj Ghat and Vijay Ghat, which are memorials to Mahatma Gandhi and the second Prime Minister of India, Lal Bahadur Shastri, respectively, to pay floral tributes to them. He paid tributes to Lal Bahadur Shastri on his 117th birth anniversary.
