Radio jockey Amin Sayani passes away at HN Reliance Hospital in Mumbai

Rajil Sayani said his father suffered a heart attack on Tuesday night, following which he took him to HN Reliance Hospital in Mumbai, where he died. “Doctors at the hospital treated him but could not save him and he was declared dead,”.

Amin Sayani has produced, composed (or delivered) over 54,000 radio programs and 19,000 spots/jingles since 1951. Sayani was also a part of various films over the years like Bhoot Bangla, Teen Deviyan, Boxer and Qatl. In all these films, he appeared in the role of announcer in some programs.
