‘Road Safety Month’ will be inaugurated tomorrow

New Delhi: National Road Safety Month will be inaugurated tomorrow with the aim of creating awareness about road safety in India and reducing road accidents.

The inauguration ceremony will be held tomorrow at Vigyan Bhawan, where it will be inaugurated by Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Nitin Gadkari, Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways, General (Retd) VK Singh. Will be done. Chief Executive Officer of NITI Aayog, Amitabh Kant will also be present on the occasion.

Activities to be organized during the month include the launch of a film on road safety, flag off the National Championship of Safe Speed ​​Challenge from Wagah Border to Kanyakumari, and the award for Road Safety. State governments, public sector undertakings, and insurance companies will also participate in awareness-raising activities along with seminars, walkathons, poster-making competitions, etc.
