New Delhi: After Ayodhya’s Ram Janmabhoomi, now the case of Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi of Mathura has also reached the court. A civil suit has been filed in the court of Mathura regarding the birthplace complex so that full ownership of the place can be taken. A civil suit has been filed in the Mathura court in the name of Srikrishna Virajaman for the ownership of 13.37 acres of land with an appeal to remove the royal Idgah mosque.
Supreme Court lawyer Vishnu Shankar Jain has filed a petition in the court of Civil Judge Senior Division of Mathura over the ownership of Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi. He has sought the ownership of 13.37 acres of Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi through the petition as well as the removal of the royal Idgah mosque.
The plea filed by advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain termed the 1968 agreement on land as false. The case has been filed by Advocate Ranjana Agnihotri and six other devotees on behalf of Lord Sri Krishna Virajaman, Katra Keshav Dev Khevat, Mauja Mathura Bazar city as an intimate friend. It has been told in the petition that the place where the royal mosque Idgah stands, is the real prison in which Lord Krishna was born.
The place which is worshiped today as Krishna’s birthplace, was the prison of King Kansa in Katra Keshav Dev of Mallapura region five thousand years ago. Lord Krishna was born in the same prison at midnight in Rohini Nakshatra.
Historian Dr. Vasudev Sharan Agarwal has considered Katra Keshavdev as the birthplace of Krishna. On the basis of various studies and evidences, the second Krishnadatta Vajpayee of the Political Museum of Mathura also admitted that Katra is the birthplace of Keshavdev Krishna.
According to historians, this magnificent temple built by Emperor Chandragupta Vikramaditya was attacked by Mahmud Ghaznabi in 1017 AD and demolished after looting it.
Sri Krishna Janmasthan Temple has been demolished 3 times and built 4 times. There is still dispute between the two sides regarding the ownership of Krishna Janmabhoomi.
Explain that the Sri Krishna Janma Bhoomi Nirman Nyas has been formed in August to liberate Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi. 80 saints from 14 states of the country have been associated with this trust. The National President of the Trust Acharya Devmurari Bapu had told that the Trust was registered on 23 July on the occasion of Hariyali Teej.
