Many famous and ancient temples of Shanidev are present in different parts of the country. There is Shani temple in Chhattisgarh where Shani Dev is seated with his wife. While the entry of women is prohibited in the Shani temple, on the other hand, it is a unique temple.
Temple of Mahabharata period
This temple of Shanidev is located in Kawardha, a district of Chhattisgarh. Where a village Chhapri is situated 15 km away from Bhoramdev road. From where is the Madwa Mahal 500 km away. From were crossing the zig-zag rocky paths comes to the village Kariyama, where this temple is situated. In this temple, Shani Dev is worshiped along with his wife Swamini. This is the only temple in the country where the idols of Shani Dev and his wife sit together. It is believed that this is the Mahabharata carpet, which was built by the Pandavas.

This temple has got the status of the only wife Shanidevalaya in the country, in other places only the only statue of Shanidev is established. This Shani temple is also famous because here both husband and wife can worship Shani Dev together.
