Allu Arjun’s ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’ to release in Hindi after the huge success of ‘Pushpa’

The Hindi dubbed version of superstar Allu Arjun’s blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapuramulu is set for a theatrical release on January 26, the makers announced on Monday.

Production house Goldmines Telefilms shared the update on Twitter, which read, “Allu Arjun is back at the box office”.

The 2020 Telugu action-drama will release in Hindi after the huge success of the actor’s last release Pushpa: The Rise.

The tweet reads, ‘After ‘Pushpa’, there will now be a Hindi dubbed version of ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramulu’ in cinemas from January 26.

Written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas, Ala Vaikunthapuramulu also starred Pooja Hegde, Tabu, Jayaram, Sushant and Nivetha Pethuraj.

The film follows the story of Bantu (Arjun), who learns after being neglected by his father that he was turned as an infant and that his biological father is a prosperous businessman.

Ala Vaikunthapuramulu is produced by Allu Aravind and S Radha Krishna.

Actors Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon-starrer Shahzada, whose production began in October last year, is reportedly a Hindi remake of the Telugu film.

Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise released in December and despite facing competition from films like Spider-Man: No Way Home and cricket drama 83, its Hindi version grossed an impressive total of over Rs 80 crore at the box office. The title of which was given by actor Ranveer Singh.
