Before the assembly elections in West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee’s party is facing another hurdle. One of the prominent faces of TMC has resigned today. The TMC leader resigned from the post of Rajya Sabha MP, claiming to be feeling suffocated in the party.
Announcing his resignation in the Rajya Sabha, Dinesh Trivedi lobbied the Prime Minister. Also mentions that he was troubled by the violence in the state and had heard his inner conscience to leave the party. He was already troubled by the state of politics going on in the state of West Bengal.
There comes a moment in every human's life when they have to make a decision after a long contemplation…When there's a lot of violence & corruption…I've always raised my voice against violence. What I'm saying today isn't new: Dinesh Trivedi after resigning as TMC MP in RS pic.twitter.com/wY9gTkQCQo
