1 lakh youth health workers will be ready in 3 months to face the third wave: PM Modi

New Delhi: The Center has started preparations for the third wave from now. For this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a crash course for Kovid-19 frontline workers and gave a message to the country to be prepared for the epidemic Kovid-19. He said that 1 lakh warriors will be prepared to face the pandemic through the crash course being started today. The Prime Minister conveyed his best wishes to the frontline workers taking crash courses and hoped that soon new health workers would be ready to cooperate with them.

Crash Course of 2-3 Months
The Center has set a target of training about 1 lakh youth in the country to provide relief to the frontline workers currently working. This crash course will be completed in 2-3 months, so these people will also be available for work immediately. Under this special training program for frontline workers, candidates will get free training, skill India certificate, food and accommodation facility, stipend along with on-the-job training and accident insurance of Rs. 2 lakh for certified candidates. After completion of the special training program of COVID-19 Healthcare Frontline Workers, candidates will be able to work in Primary Health Centers, Community Health Centers, Health Facilities and Hospitals under the arrangement of DSC/SSDM.

6 types of training courses
In this crash course, training of 6 types of courses will be given. These will be home care support, basic care support, advanced care support, emergency care support, sample collection support and medical equipment support. Its total cost is Rs 273 crore. The objective of this program is to develop skills of non-medical healthcare workers to meet the present and future human resource needs in the health sector.

Training will be done in 111 training centers
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launched a specially designed ‘Crash Course Program’ for COVID-19 frontline workers through video conferencing. Under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana 3.0, it will be started in 111 training centers located in 26 states across the country. The Union Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship is also present on this occasion. The Prime Minister said, this COVID-19 pandemic has repeatedly tested the potential of every country, every institution, every society, every family, every human being in the world. At the same time, this epidemic has also alerted us to expand our capabilities as science, government, society, institution and individual.
