According to a DDA statement, under the scheme, 5,383 1BHK lower-income groups (LIG) and economically weaker section (EWS) flats are being offered in Narela, Rohini, Siraspur and Loknayak Puram; 199 2BHK mid-income group (MIG) flats in Dwarka and Narela; and 41 3BHK High-Income Group (HIG) flats in Jasola.
Applicants can register on the DDA website after paying Rs 1,180. After checking the size, layout, location and cost of the flat, the applicant can book the flat by paying the booking amount, which will vary depending on the size and category of the flat.
For example, the booking fee for a 1BHK EWS flat is Rs 50,000, but for a 1BHK LIG flat it is Rs 1 lakh. Similarly, the booking amount for 2BHK MIG flat is Rs 4 lakh and for 3BHK HIG flat is Rs 10 lakh. The maximum number of flats allotted in Narela are 149 2BHK and 3,413 1BHK. Jasola has the highest prices for 3BHK flats – around Rs 2.08 to 2.18 crore – while Narela has the lowest prices for 1BHK EWS flats, around Rs 9.89 lakh.
To improve security and connectivity, DDA has allotted land to Delhi Police to open more police stations in the area and increased the frequency of DTC buses. A metro line has also been proposed. The DDA has also allotted land to the Delhi government for six higher secondary schools, a sports complex and a dispensary.
