Actor Bobby Deol on Saturday announced the release date of the second season of his hit web series, Aashram. Chapter 2 of the Prakash Jha-directed series will premiere on November 11, 2020. The chapter two is part of the first season of the web show.
A duplicitous, aashram based, Indian Godman’s good deeds serve activities criminal and unholy, such as rapes, murders, drugs, vote bank politics and forced male emasculation. The law and a few crusaders investigate to bring him to account.
Bigger, bolder, stronger — that’s the peg by which the makers are peddling Aashram Chapter 2 — The Dark Side, and it looks like the makers are going to live up to the billing. We get to see Bobby Deol aka Kashipur Waale Baba Nirala usurping greater power than he had in season 1 and making even more unethical decisions than he previously had , coming across as a man who’s deplorably dark and vile, promising the viewers more shocks than before with his demonic persona. Once again produced and directed by Prakash Jha, Aashram 2 will see Aaditi Pohankar, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Darshan Kumaar, Anupriya Goenka, Adhyayan Suman, Tridha Choudhury and Tushar Pandey return to their roles.
