Patna, Jagran Correspondent. RJD’s Kartikeya Singh aka Master Karthik Bahubali, who was made the Law Minister in the Mahagathbandhan government of Bihar, is on the right hand of Anant Singh. At present they are embroiled in controversies. He is absconding in the eyes of the court in a kidnapping case of 2014. He has neither surrendered in the court nor has he applied for bail. He was to appear in the court on August 16, but he was taking oath as a minister at the Raj Bhavan.
A warrant has been issued against him for not appearing in the court. Responding to this matter, BJP has said that Jungle Raj is returning in the new government. At the same time, Kartikeya Singh has declared himself innocent in this case. At the same time, CM Nitish Kumar said that I am not aware of this.
The case is related to the kidnapping in 2014, it is alleged that in 2014, Bahubali along with former MLA Anant Singh went to abduct Raju Singh in Karthikeya and others in Bihta. In the same case, an FIR was lodged at Bihta police station. Kartikeya was also made accused in it.
During the incident, a car of Anant Singh’s convoy was torched by angry people. Kartikeya was supposed to appear in the Danapur court on 16 August, but on that day he was taking oath as a minister. Thereafter a warrant was issued by the court. In this case Kartikeya Singh has declared himself innocent.
There is a lot of musclemen in the government, after the matter came to the fore, the opposition has made it an issue. The BJP has said that jungle raj is returning in the new government. According to Sushil Modi, Nitish Kumar has ensured the return of the dreadful days in Bihar by filling up the musclemen in the cabinet of the Mahagathbandhan government.
MLAs like Surendra Yadav, Lalit Yadav, Ramakant Yadav and Kartikeya were made ministers, in whose name people tremble in the area. Serious cases like Arms Act, sexual abuse, attempt to murder and kidnapping are registered against them.
Karthikeya is close to Anant Singh, let us tell you that Kartikeya Singh alias Master Karthik was elected a member of the Legislative Council from the local authority. Master Karthik, who is considered very close to Bahubali Anant Singh, has studied till graduation. After passing his matriculation examination from Rudravati High School Mokama in 1980, he did his Intermediate and in 1985 he did his graduation in Arts from RRS College Mokama.
Master Karthik, a resident of Sivnar village, is associated with farming, business as well as social service. Came to RJD during the 2020 assembly elections. Elected to the Legislative Council in 2022 and also became a minister in Nitish’s cabinet. Criminal cases are registered against Master Karthik in Mokama and Bihta including Kotwali of Patna.
