Corona Update: Number of new daily cases in India less than 20,000 for last 10 days

New Delhi: A period of rapid decline in the arrival of new cases is going on in India and along with this, a decrease in active cases is being recorded. For the first time, out of the total confirmed cases in India, active cases have fallen below 2 percent (1.98 percent). In the last 24 hours, 15,144 daily cases have been reported. The number of active cases in the country has declined by 2,08,826.

Changes in active cases in the last 24 hours

Kerala has recorded the most positive change with 922 additional cases while Madhya Pradesh shows the maximum negative change with a decline of 433 cases.

During the last 24 hours, 17,170 new patients have become healthy. The number of healthy cases has now reached 96.58 percent. The total reported cases are 10,196,885. The active cases are 99,88,059 (48.83 times more)

In 10 States and Union Territories, the number of new healthy cases is 80.53 percent.

In the last 24 hours, Kerala has recorded the highest number of recoveries with 5,011 newly healthy cases a day. After this, 3,039 patients have been healthy in Maharashtra while 930 patients have been healthy in Uttar Pradesh.

Eight states and union territories accounted for 81 percent of new cases.

Kerala continues to have the highest number of cases with 5,960 daily new cases. After this, 2,910 and 610 new cases have been registered in Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu respectively.

There is also a continuous decrease in daily deaths in India. In the last 23 days, fewer than 300 deaths have been reported in India.

In the last 24 hours, 181 death cases from 66 states and Union Territories ie 66.30 percent have been reported.

Maharashtra has recorded 52 deaths, while Kerala has 27 and West Bengal has recorded 15 new deaths.
