COVID-19 vaccination for age group 15-18: Registration on CoWIN begins today, here’s how to get register

New Delhi: Amid the omicron threat, the CoWIN registration for COVID-19 vaccination beneficiaries in the age group 15-18 will begin from Saturday (January 1, 2021) on the occasion of New Year.

Both walk-in and online registration (through CoWIN) facilities are available for 15-18 year olds in this vaccination campaign.

CoWIN registration will start from January 1, while onsite registration will start from January 3.

Individuals will be required to present a valid identity document such as Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Voter Card, etc. After vaccination, they will receive a certificate for the same.

As announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 25, 2021, vaccination for the age group 15-18 is scheduled to start from January 3, 2022, while the administration of the third dose as a precautionary measure for vulnerable categories will begin from January 10 .

Over 145 Crore COVID-19 Vaccine Doses Administered in India
