Farmers are getting freedom from moneylenders by getting paddy on MSP

Raipur: There is a lot of enthusiasm among the farmers of the state about the purchase of paddy on support price starting from December 01. Due to the hard price of paddy according to hard work, farmers have now got freedom from moneylenders.

Farmer of village Chilhati, Shri Bahauri Kendw, who came to sell paddy at the Mopka Paddy Procurement Center in Bilaspur district, has token of 28 quintal paddy. They say that we have got freedom from moneylenders by purchasing paddy on support price by the government. Now we have no need to take interest from moneylenders. Appropriate arrangements have been made in the committee for paddy purchase. He told that he did not face any problem in weighing paddy.

The farmer appeared satisfied with the arrangement of paddy purchase in the Shri Ramsharan Kenwat Committee. He told that there was no problem in getting the token cut. He has got a 22 quintal paddy token cut. They cultivate paddy on 2.5 acres. Mr. Kenwant says that we are greatly relieved by purchasing paddy at the support price. Farmer-friendly schemes are being prepared by the Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel keeping in mind the interests of farmers like us.

Farmers from 5 villages of Mopka, Chilhati, Lingayadih, Khaira and Farhada come to sell their paddy at the support price at the Mopka Paddy Procurement Center. Committee’s manager Mr. Basant Dahria said that 479 farmers have been registered here. The registered area of ​​paddy is 563 hectares. Since December 01, 2162 quintals of paddy have been purchased from 52 farmers so far.
