Following the announcement of a printed poster for the murder of Punjab CM Capt Amarinder Singh, the Mohali police on Saturday registered a case against unknown persons.
The City SP of Mohali reported that a poster placed on a guide map was seen on Thursday and announced a reward of $ 1 million for killing the Punjab CM, ANI reported.
The Mohali City SP reportedly stated that an FIR has been registered under Sections 504, 506, and Sections 120B and Sections 3, 4, 5 of the IPC.
A senior police officer said that investigation was going on in the case after the FIR was registered and the accused would be arrested soon. A report by the Tribune said that police were tracing CCTV footage from the area.
