Delhi Liquor Scam: Delhi Minister Atishi has made a big allegation against BJP. While addressing a press conference, She said that through a close friend of mine, BJP has offered me to join them. If I don’t join BJP then ED will arrest me.
New Delhi: Delhi government minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Atishi has made a big claim in a press conference. She has made serious allegations against BJP. She has said that ED will arrest me in the next few days.
A close friend has told me that if I do not join BJP then ED will arrest me. ED is going to raid my house in a few days. Atishi said that there is a conspiracy to put four leaders of Aam Aadmi Party in jail within two months. Apart from me, Saurabh Bhardwaj, Durgesh Pathak and Raghav Chadha are also included in it.
Let us tell you that yesterday Atishi’s name also came up in the Delhi liquor scam case. During the hearing in the court on Monday, ED claimed that Kejriwal told during interrogation that accused Vijay Nair used to report to Atishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj.
‘Kejriwal took Atishi’s name’
According to the information, when the ED mentioned the names of Atishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court, both of them were present in the court room. ED alleged in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal did not cooperate in the investigation during his remand.
He kept giving vague answers to the questions. When the CM was asked about his close aide and key accused in the case, Vijay Nair, he said that Nair used to report to Atishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj, not me. My conversation with him was very limited in scope.
The name came one and a half years ago also
Businessman Vijay Nair was the communication incharge of Aam Aadmi Party. The ED had arrested Nair along with South lobby members and AAP leaders Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh. In this matter, Aam Aadmi Party said that when Vijay Nair was arrested one and a half years ago, he had said that he did not report to the CM and used to report to Atishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj.
Why is ED raising this issue after one and a half years, when it has a written statement. BJP said that the position of liquor policy is becoming clear. Now it remains to be seen whether Kejriwal resigns or moves towards new politics.
