Modi government has got a big success in keeping the data of Indian users in India. Big companies like Google, Facebook, Twitter and Amazon have agreed to build a data center in India. Construction of the first data center has also started in Noida in Uttar Pradesh. UP CM Yogi Adityanath has stepped up the foundation of the data center in Noida with an investment of about 600 crores. It is being told that Hiranandani Group of Mumbai will build the data center on 20 acres of land.

The Yogi government says that 2,000 youths will be provided direct employment from the data center being built in Noida. At the same time, more than 20,000 people will get employment indirectly. The IT companies around this project are also going to get big help. Allotment of land for the data center was done in the Corona era itself. It is being said that work will start in this data center by June 2022. After this, companies like Google, Amazon, Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, Instagram etc. will start keeping data of Indian users in India only.

On the other hand, it is also reported that several companies including Rack Bank and Adani Group have proposed to the UP Government to invest Rs 10,000 crore for the data center. Due to lack of data center in India, data of Indian users is kept abroad. Now with the start of this center, the data of Indian users will be kept safe in India. UP cabinet minister Siddharthnath Singh says that this will be the most modern and largest data center in North India and in the coming days such data centers will be set up in other parts of the state as well.

Data center networks are used by companies for data storage, processing and distribution. UP has millions of subscribers on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, Instagram, Instagram, YouTube. It is expensive to keep their personal data safe. On the other hand, along with banking, retail, health, tourism, Aadhaar card data can also be kept safe in this data center.
