Hemant Soren holds the Industries department and Kalpana was allotted 11 acres of land from the plot pool created to start industrial ventures for the tribals. This was disclosed by Raghuvar Das.
The plot was allotted to Sohrai Pvt Ltd for a meat processing unit at Barhe Industrial Park in Ranchi. Sohrai Private Limited is owned by Kalpana Soren.
Das had alleged that the land allotment was in violation of Section 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
