Social media users noticed an extraordinary resemblance between Nehra and Sunak and started sharing close-up pictures of the two. The cricketer, who is not on social media, is making headlines for no reason.
Nehra is neither active in Indian politics nor has he commented on British politics. But he has family ties with the UK. Nehra’s wife Rushma Nehra lived in England before tying the knot. While talking to Gaurav Kapoor on Breakfast with Champions, the former India pacer had revealed that he first met his wife when she came to watch a match at the Oval in 2002. Nehra further said that he spends a few months there every year.
The former India fast bowler retired from international cricket in 2017 and now works as a cricket specialist. In the IPL, Nehra is associated with Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans. Debuting in IPL 2022, Gujarat surprised the fans by winning the trophy. The title win saw Nehra become the first India head coach to win the title in the tournament’s 15-year history.
