Himachal Pradesh Global Investors Meet; PM Modi to launch hydroelectric projects worth over Rs 11,000 crore

This will lead to the generation of more than 750 million units of electricity per year. Modern and reliable grid support will also prove beneficial for the states around the region.

Another project for which he will lay the foundation stone is the Dhaulasiddha Hydroelectric Project. This will be the first hydroelectric project of Hamirpur district. The 66 MW project will be constructed at a cost of over Rs 680 crore. The PMO said that this would generate more than 300 million units of electricity per year. The 111 MW project has been constructed at a cost of about Rs 2,080 crore.
