India becomes the fastest country in the world to vaccinate 4 million

New Delhi: India’s fast pace continues to achieve significant achievements in its fight against the global epidemic. By making a significant achievement, India has become the fastest country in the world achieving 40 lakh Covid-19 vaccination figures.

India has achieved this target in 18 days. As of February 1, 2021, India ranks among the top five countries in the world for giving Covid-19 vaccine to people. Vaccination campaigns in India continue at a rapid pace.

India’s fight against Covid-19 is also a daily success in other areas. No cases of death due to Covid have been reported in 14 states / UTs in the last 24 hours. These states are Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Daman and Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Mizoram, Nagaland, Lakshadweep, Ladakh, Sikkim, Manipur, Puducherry, Goa, Odisha and Assam.

The trend of decline in the number of active cases in the country is continuing, with a large number of covid patients recovering daily and a significant decline in mortality. In the last 24 hours, the number of active cases in the country has come down to 1,60,057. The number of active cases in the country has also come down to 1.5 percent of the total cases (existing 1.49 percent).

During the last 24 hours, 11,039 new cases have been confirmed in the country. During this period, 14,225 new patients have been cured. Due to this, there has been a decline of 3,296 cases in total active cases. The total number of cured patients has increased to 1,04,62,631. The national recovery rate is 97.08 percent, the highest globally. The difference between active cases and cured patients has steadily increased to 1,03,02,574. There are less than 5,000 active cases in 31 states and union territories.

The eight states / union territories have a weekly infection rate higher than the national average of 1.91 percent. Kerala has the highest weekly infection rate of 12 percent, while Chhattisgarh has 7 percent.

As of 3 February 2021, more than 41 lakh (41,38,918) beneficiaries have been vaccinated under the nationwide Covid-19 vaccination campaign till 8 am. .

In the last 24 hours, 1,88,762 health workers have been vaccinated in 3,845 sessions. Till date 76,576 sessions have been organized. The number of daily vaccinated beneficiaries is also increasing steadily.

85.62 percent of the new cases reported are from 8 States / UTs. The number of newly cured cases in Kerala has been 5,747, the highest. 4,011 and 521 new patients have been cured in Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu respectively.

83.01 percent of new cases are related to 6 states and union territories. Kerala has the highest number of 5,716 new cases reported yesterday. In the last 24 hours, 1,927 and 510 new cases have been detected in Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu respectively.

Covid has been reported to have killed 110 patients during the last 24 hours. 66.36 percent of such deaths are related to five states / union territories. Maharashtra has the highest number of deaths of 30 new patients, while Kerala has seen 16 new deaths in 24 hours.
