“King Is Back”: Virat Kohli Salutes MS Dhoni After CSK Captains’ Vintage Knock vs Delhi Capitals
MS Dhoni produced an old innings of 18 runs off just six balls against Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 Qualifier 1 to propel his side into the final of the tournament. While Dhoni’s knock took the fans into a frenzy, current India skipper Virat Kohli also couldn’t stop expressing his emotions after seeing Dhoni hitting the ball all over the field to end the match. Kohli said in his tweet that Dhoni’s knock made him jump from his seat.
Kohli tweet, the greatest finisher ever in the game. Made me jump Outta my seat once again tonight.
Even Punjab Kings co-owner Preity Zinta lauded Dhoni for leading from the front.

Chasing 173 for victory, CSK got off to a poor start as they lost Faf du Plessis in the very first over.
Robin Uthappa and Ruturaj Gaikwad then added 110 runs for the second wicket and chased down the target.
Dhoni then played a cameo, hitting three fours in the final over off Tom Curran to take his team home with two balls to spare.
