Oman MP offers $1 million to Messi for Bisht in FIFA World Cup 2022 final

Argentina captain Lionel Messi has been offered $1 million for the ‘Bisht’ he wore during the FIFA World Cup 2022 trophy ceremony earlier this month.

The football legend has now been offered a huge sum of money for the outfit by an Omani lawyer and Member of Parliament named Ahmed Al Barwani.

Barwani tweeted, “From the Sultanate of Oman, I congratulate you on winning the World Cup Qatar 2022. Arabic bisht is a symbol of chivalry and wisdom. I am offering you one million dollars in exchange for that bisht.”

He is “willing to pay more if the player wants to negotiate.”

Messi led from the front, scoring twice in the final as Argentina defeated France on penalties to win their third World Cup title.
