Voting for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections began today amid high security at 4,979 polling stations, following a massive demonstration by national and regional political parties to woo voters. Voting time is from 7 am to 6 pm. The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has 150 wards. The post of mayor is reserved for a woman at this point. In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, elections will be conducted on ballot paper and results will be declared on December 4 for GHMC elections.
