New Delhi: To overcome the hurdles in this ongoing war against Corona and to find new solutions, Indian Railways is continuing its journey of providing relief to the people by transporting liquid medical oxygen (LMO) to various states across the country. Indian Railways has so far transported 2067 (estimated) metric tonnes of liquid medical oxygen through 137 tankers in various states of the country. So far, 34 Oxygen Express trains have completed their journey.
Indian Railways is endeavoring to provide maximum liquid medical oxygen to the requesting states in the shortest possible time.
Indian Railways has so far reached more than 2067 MT LMOs in various states of the country.
174 metric tonne to Maharashtra, 641 metric tonne to Uttar Pradesh, 190 metric tonne to Madhya Pradesh, 229 metric tonne to Haryana and 123 metric tonne were delivered to Telangana. Delhi has received 707 MT of oxygen.
