The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) on Sunday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission at 11 am on Monday and address the people through video conferencing.

“Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission through the provision of a wide range of data, information and infrastructure services, duly leveraging open, interoperable, standards-based digital systems while ensuring safety, privacy and confidentiality related to health. The pilot project of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission was announced by the Prime Minister on the occasion of 74th Independence Day last year. At present, the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission is being implemented in a pilot phase in six union territories.

The nationwide rollout of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission is being done by the National Health Authority (NHA) on the occasion of the third anniversary of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY). Union Health Minister Mansukh L. Mandaviya will also be present.
