PM Narendra Modi Inaugurates Ground Breaking Ceremony 3.0 Of UP Investors Summit

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the foundation stone-laying ceremony of the 3rd Uttar Pradesh Investors Summit, in Lucknow on Friday (June 3, 2022). Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh were also present on the occasion. Speaking at the ground breaking ceremony, PM Modi shared the Centre’s mantra of governance – Reform, Perform, Transformation. PM Narendra Modi at the ground breaking ceremony said, “We recently completed 8 years of central governance. Over the years, we progressed on the mantra of reform, performance, transformation, policy stability, coordination and ease of doing business. be focused.”

PM Modi said, “Today there are investment agreements of more than Rs 80,000 crore. This record investment will create thousands of employment opportunities. I congratulate the youth of UP for this as it will benefit them the most.”

UP Investors Summit 2018 was held from February 21-22, 2018, with the first ground breaking ceremony on July 29, 2018 and the second ground breaking ceremony on July 28, 2019.

At the event, UP CM Adityanath lauded the Centre’s schemes like ‘One District One Product’ and said, “UP has increased its traditional enterprise exports by Rs 88,000 crore with effective action in schemes like ‘One District One Product’. increased to Rs 1.56 lakh crore.”

CM Yogi Adityanath said, “The unemployment rate in Uttar Pradesh has come down from 18 per cent to 2.9 per cent.”

Top industry leaders of the country also attended the ground breaking ceremony. UP government officials said prominent industrialists including Gautam Adani, Kumar Mangalam Birla, Sajjan Jindal and Mukesh Ambani’s son Anant Ambani are likely to attend the event.
