New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to deliver the keynote address at the national launch ceremony of ‘Azadi Ke Amrit Mahotsav Se Swarnim Bharat Ke Ore’ via video conference on Thursday (January 20, 2022).
According to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), the event will unveil a year-long initiative by the Brahma Kumaris dedicated to the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, which includes over 30 campaigns and over 15,000 programs and events.
PM Modi will deliver the keynote address at the national launch ceremony of ‘Azadi Ke Amrit Mahotsav Se Swarnim Bharat Ke Ore’ on January 20 at 10:30 am.
The PMO also said that during the event, PM Modi will flag off seven initiatives of Brahma Kumaris. These are ‘My India Healthy India’; Atmanirbhar Bharat: Self-reliant farmers; Women: Flag bearers of India; the power of the peace bus campaign; Andhaka Bharat Cycle Rally; United India Motor Bike Campaign; and green initiatives under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
Under the ‘My India Healthy India’ initiative, several programs and events will be organized in medical colleges and hospitals with a focus on spirituality, wellness, and nutrition, the statement said.
These include organizing medical camps, cancer screenings, conferences for doctors and other health care workers, the statement said.
It said that under ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat: Atmanirbhar Kisan’, 75 farmers empowerment campaigns, 75 farmer conferences, 75 sustainable yoga agriculture training programs, and many other such initiatives for the welfare of farmers will be organized.
The initiative under ‘Women: The Flag Bearer of India’ will focus on women empowerment and social change through the empowerment of the girl child, the statement said.
The Power of Peace Bus campaign will cover 75 cities and tehsils and will organize an exhibition on the positive transformation of today’s youth.
Depicting the relationship between heritage and environment, ‘Andakha Bharat Cycle Rally’ will be organized at various heritage sites. The ‘United India Motor Bike Campaign’ will be organized from Mount Abu to Delhi and will cover many cities.
Initiatives under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan will include monthly cleanliness drives, community cleaning programs, and awareness campaigns.
During the event, a song dedicated to the Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav by Grammy Award winner Ricky Cage will also be released.
According to the release, Brahma Kumaris is a worldwide spiritual movement dedicated to personal transformation and world renewal.
Founded in India in 1937, the Brahma Kumari movement has spread to over 130 countries.
This event is being organized on the occasion of the 53rd ascension anniversary of the founder father of Brahma Kumaris, Shri Prajapita Brahma.
