Mumbai: Shiv Sena President, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, reacting to the results of the West Bengal state assembly said, “Mamta won! Politics is over! Now we should focus on the fight against Covid-19. “
Thackeray said that Mamta was fighting for the self-respect of the ‘Bengalis’ alone. He said, “We should give full credit for the victory” to Mamata Banerjee, the tigress of Bengal. From the Prime Minister to the Union Home Minister, the entire central government, the state government (BJP leadership) joined hands to defeat Didi. But still Mamta won. I applaud his courage and congratulate the people of West Bengal.
He added, “Now everyone should unite and if politics is over, then focus on fighting against Covid-19.”
