New Delhi: A big task started by the Uttar Pradesh Police’s Special Task Force when two wanted criminals were killed in an encounter in an encounter at Arail in Prayagraj district. The two slain miscreants were identified as lawyers Pandey alias Raju Pandey and Amjad alias Pintu. According to police, Pandey and Amjad were associated with gangsters Munna Bajrangi and Mukhtar Ansari. Raju Pandey had a reward of 50,000.
CO, STF, Uttar Pradesh told news agency, “Two miscreants died in an encounter in Arail in Prayagraj. He has been identified as Advocate Pandey alias Raju Pandey (prize of 50,000) and Amjad alias Pintu. Deputy jailer Anil Tyagi was murdered in Varanasi in 2013. ”
Police said Pandey and Amjad were named since 2013 in connection with the murder of then deputy jailer Anil Kumar Tyagi at the behest of Munna Bajrangi and Mukhtar Ansari.
Vikas Pandey alias Rajeev Pandey alias Raju Pandey son Sahaj Ram Pandey was a resident of Gopiganj in Sant Ravidas Nagar district. He also had a cash reward of Rs 50,000.
Both were killed during an encounter by a team led by Deputy Superintendent of Police Navendu Kumar of STF UP Prayagraj in Naini police station area of Prayagraj.
